this is my submission for this years winter carnival poster contest. winter gradually turning into spring with the winter monster saving spring lady! it does feel great to feel spring coming along. I'll be going to this concert, hopefully doing some live painting there, so if your in the area or at the show come find me! sold

recychadellic robotron

this heres the installation I did at Aura music festival, with the help of my good buddy justin Runfola. its made out of junk from around the ranch where the festival was held. we didnt use any tools just wire to hold things together.

love live painting

this is my first live painting with oil paints, my initial concern was how long it takes to dry. however, since i use a lot of liquin original, the drying time gets cut in half. i think i'm going to be painting in oils more. this was done last friday with lost lingo, rand larzeny, and the secret band, twas a good evening. lovely folks as always. its great to finish a painting within a few hours. sold

AURA 2011

first of all i had so much fun at AURA i got sick, but i RAGED It for as long as i could and painted for 52 hrs straight!!!! The lineup was awesome, im just gonna go through it here real quick, the first day it all started out with THe Rooze, saltwater Grass, Chroma, THe Burnin Smyrnans, Diocious, Green Hit, THe Malah, Greenhouse Lounge, Zoogma till the break of dawn, second day soso, Lingo, Fat Mannequin, Crazy Fingers, Noise ORG, Aquaphonics, Damn Right!, The HEavy Pets, Sci Fi Papadosio, Sci FI, Gravity A. there are so many more i just listed the sets i painted to. some other notable bands that were there include Third Nature, Robot ears, J2K, Under the Porch, New Gravity, EP3, Shak Nasti

it was a sold out 3 day festival, in st cloud florida on the crescent J Rance. I got there early and constructed a Recychadellic Robot made from found objects around the Ranch and in the backyards of neighbors with the help of my good friend Justin Runfola. anyway we had fun, heres some photos from that fun

stoked that Bill Nershi has this painting

Painted this during Spring Creek and Emmitt - Nershi Band @ the bluebird in Denver. both bands were incredible emmitt-nershi band played "tangled up in blue" it was pretty fitting with what was going on in the painting so... those wise words are at the bottom. and good ol Bill Nershi of String Cheese Incidents has the painting. i feel honored.
